Napa Valley artist and photographer Ann Nunziata is inspired by the natural world around her. She is a self-taught artist who concentrated on art after a career at Apple Computer. She is also an avid gardener with coursework in ornamental horticulture. Ann first read about the watercolor batik method in Watercolor Artist magazine. She has since adapted it to her images of birds and historical buildings with emphasis on the conservation status of endangered and threatened wildlife and architecture.
